Here is the typical workflow for a custom promotional item:

Phase I: Initial Queries
Our account managers interface with our clients and potential clients to access their needs and wishes for the particular promotion. The sales staff is supported by our highly-experienced office staff members who are also available to answer questions and help with quotes. This phase takes less than one day.

Phase IIa: Product Mock-up/Product Design
Proposed ideas are reviewed by our full-time engineer and art director who will then assign the project to the appropriate designer to create the appropriate comps or 3-Dimensional drawings for the client. Drawings or mock-ups are immediately forwarded to the client via next-day air or electronically, whichever is appropriate. This phase takes from one to five days, depending on complexity of design.

Phase IIb: Quote Preparation
Concurrently, the account manager will prepare, discuss and deliver price and delivery quotations for the client. This phase is performed concurrently, and quotes are delivered with drawings.

Phase III: Client Review of Proposed Drawings and Comps
The customer reviews the drawings or mock-ups and discusses them with other members of the marketing team. The timeframe varies for each customer or project and may entail regulatory review.

Phase IV: Final Design
Once approved by the customer, the drawings and necessary artwork are finalized and prepared to be handed off to the appropriate Innovative Premiums manufacturing partner. This phase usually takes one to two days.

Phase V: Product Manufacturing
Any necessary dies, molds or films, etc. are prepared and the promotional products are manufactured and packaged. This phase takes one to five weeks, depending on project complexity.

Phase VI: Distribution
Finished promotional items can be shipped immediately to the location requested by the customer by the best possible means. Promotional items can also be warehoused and distributed as needed by Innovative Premiums, whichever the customer prefers.
